Prunella Xiang Feeney is Here

Well, the new Feeney arrived 1 week ahead of the due date. At 9.30pm on Wednesday 13th June, mom was feeling "a bit funny". At 10.15pm we had a mad dash to the hospital, and at 11.24pm the world welcomed Prunella Xiang Feeney (although the name came two days after she did. Here are the first pictures of Pru and some of her big brother Max...




















Spot the difference. Yup, in the picture below, there are two Feeneys! (above is Max, below is Pru with Max looking on). Can you see the family resemblance?

This is Pru 8 hours after the trauma of birth. This is pretty much what she looks like all the time, and getting a picture of her with her eyes open is a real challenge!


This is the proud brother with his new sister. The problem is not one of rejection, but that Max is so excited, and so boisterous, he is likely to love her black and blue!
